UPDATE 04-29-09...

This event was a huge success!  Everyone had a lot of fun, and we enjoyed hosting over 90 poker players.  We made a significant contribution to our club's humanitarian fund (the final figures appear to be in the neighborhood of $5 to $6 thousand).  THANK YOU to all who supported the event and made it one of the most successful tournaments our club as ever had!

 AHRC's 5th Annual Charity Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament

Please open/download the flyer below.  The event timetable will be as follows:

1. 5:30 Check-in and dinner (pizza and salad with the price of admission; drinks available for a small/reasonable charge at the bar... remember... the proceeds go to charity).

2. 7:00 Tournament begins.

3. Price of play buys you $500.00 in chips.

4. If a player goes bust, the player may re-buy ($20.00 for another $500.00 in chips).  This may be repeated up until the final re-buy is announced.

5. Anyone may re-buy - a one time "add on" ($20.00 for another $500.00 in chips) at one designated final re-buy period (to be announced)(around 8:30-ish).
